  • Small Office Cleaning

3. Requesting a Quote

Customers can request a quotation through:

  • our website;

  • telephone;

  • email;

  • WhatsApp;

  • social media; or

  • another method accepted by Nest & Gleam.

To provide an accurate quotation, we may ask for information including:

  • property type;

  • postcode;

  • number of rooms;

  • number of bathrooms;

  • size of the property;

  • current condition;

  • cleaning requirements;

  • photographs;

  • video walkthroughs;

  • access information;

  • parking arrangements;

  • pets;

  • additional services required; and

  • preferred date.

Providing this information does not create a confirmed booking.

4. Accuracy of Information Provided

Our quotations rely on the information provided by the customer. You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and reasonably complete. You should tell us about anything likely to materially affect:

  • the amount of work required;

  • the amount of time required;

  • the products or equipment needed;

  • access to the property;

  • health and safety;

  • the agreed price.

This includes disclosing significant:

  • grease;

  • limescale;

  • pet hair;

  • mould;

  • clutter;

  • staining;

  • waste;

  • pest activity;

  • smoke residue;

  • unusual surfaces;

  • contamination; or

  • other unusually heavy cleaning requirements.

If the property is materially different from the description provided, Section 15 of these Terms will apply.

5. Photographs and Video Assessments

For Deep Reset, End of Tenancy, Move-In and other substantial cleans, we may require photographs or a video walkthrough before confirming a quotation. These are used to help assess:

  • the property's condition;

  • likely labour required;

  • additional services;

  • equipment requirements; and

  • potential hazards.

A photographic assessment cannot reveal every condition that may be discovered after cleaning begins. The quotation therefore remains based on the reasonable assumption that the information and photographs supplied accurately represent the property. Photographs submitted for quoting purposes are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Quotations

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are:

  • based on the information supplied at the time;

  • specific to the property and service described;

  • subject to availability; and

  • valid for 30 days from the date issued.

A quotation may include:

  • base cleaning price;

  • optional extras;

  • parking;

  • travel charges where applicable;

  • deposits;

  • other agreed costs.

We will not knowingly add additional work to your bill without explaining it first.
However, the final price may change where:

  • the property's condition differs materially from what was disclosed;

  • additional work is requested;

  • access problems result in additional time or costs;

  • parking costs arise;

  • agreed preparation has not been completed;

  • the customer asks us to extend the booking; or

  • another change is agreed.

Where reasonably possible, we will obtain your agreement before undertaking chargeable additional work.

7. Regular Cleaning Prices

Regular Home Cleaning will normally be charged at the hourly rate agreed when the service is booked. Our standard Regular Home Cleaning service has a minimum booking of 2.5 hours, unless we agree otherwise in writing. A booking for a particular number of hours means that we will work for approximately that amount of time rather than guarantee that an unlimited list of tasks will be completed. Where the requested tasks exceed the available booking time, we may:

  • prioritise tasks agreed with you;

  • recommend increasing future booking time; or

  • offer additional time where availability permits.

8. Fixed-Price Cleaning Services

Services such as:

  • Deep Reset Cleaning;

  • End of Tenancy Cleaning;

  • Move-In Cleaning; and

  • certain one-off cleans

may be quoted at a fixed price. The fixed price applies to the scope and property condition on which the quotation was based. A fixed-price quotation is not an agreement to undertake unlimited additional work if the condition or requirements materially change.

9. What Is Included

The tasks included in your booking will depend on the service selected. Your quotation, booking confirmation, service description and/or cleaning checklist will describe the intended scope. A Regular Home Clean will generally focus on routine maintenance cleaning. More intensive tasks may require a Deep Reset or an additional service. Customers should ask us before booking if a particular task is essential to them.

10. Optional Extras

Optional extras may include:

  • Oven interior cleaning

  • Fridge/freezer interior cleaning

  • Inside kitchen cupboards

  • Internal windows

  • Additional detailed descaling

  • Additional appliance cleaning

  • Heavy pet-hair removal

  • Other agreed tasks

Optional extras are only included where specifically agreed. Mentioning an extra service during an enquiry does not mean it is included unless it appears in the quotation or booking confirmation.

11. Services We Do Not Routinely Provide

Unless specifically agreed and we are appropriately trained, equipped and insured, Nest & Gleam does not routinely provide:

  • Biohazard cleaning

  • Trauma or crime-scene cleaning

  • Needle or sharps removal

  • Sewage cleaning

  • Hazardous chemical removal

  • Pest-control services

  • Significant pest-contamination cleaning

  • Specialist mould remediation

  • External high-level window cleaning

  • Removal of building waste

  • Heavy rubbish clearance

  • Cleaning requiring unsafe work at height

  • Removal of hazardous substances

  • Specialist restoration

  • Professional carpet extraction where specialist equipment is required

  • Tasks outside the reasonable scope of ordinary cleaning

We reserve the right to decline any task we are not competent, trained, insured or equipped to perform safely.

12. Booking Confirmation

A booking is not confirmed merely because:

  • an enquiry has been submitted;

  • a quotation has been requested;

  • availability has been discussed; or

  • a proposed date has been mentioned.

Your booking becomes confirmed when Nest & Gleam confirms the appointment and any required deposit or other booking requirement has been satisfied. You will normally receive confirmation electronically.

13. Deposits

A deposit may be required for:

  • Deep Reset Cleaning;

  • End of Tenancy Cleaning;

  • Move-In Cleaning;

  • large one-off cleans; and

  • other appointments requiring substantial reserved time.

The deposit will normally be around 20–30% of the booking value, although the exact amount will be confirmed before booking. The deposit is credited towards the final service price. Deposits are not automatically treated as non-refundable in all circumstances.

Any amount retained following cancellation will be dealt with in accordance with our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy and applicable consumer law.

14. Changes Requested by the Customer

If you wish to add, remove or change tasks after your booking has been confirmed, please contact us as early as possible. Changes may affect:

  • the price;

  • estimated duration;

  • number of cleaners required;

  • products/equipment required; or

  • availability.

We will explain any revised price before completing additional chargeable work where reasonably possible.

15. Property Condition Different From That Described

If we arrive and discover that the property's condition is substantially different from the information used to prepare the quotation, we may pause before beginning or continuing the service. Examples include substantially more:

  • grease;

  • limescale;

  • staining;

  • dirt;

  • clutter;

  • pet hair;

  • mould;

  • rubbish;

  • appliance build-up; or

  • general soiling

than was reasonably disclosed. We may then offer one or more of the following options:

Revised Quotation

We may provide a new price that reflects the additional work.

Additional Time

Where possible, additional cleaning time may be purchased.

Prioritised Clean

We can work within the original budget/time and prioritise the most important areas.

Rescheduling

A larger appointment may be required.

Declining the Work

Where conditions are unsuitable, unsafe or materially outside the agreed scope, we may decline to continue.
We will not knowingly undertake significant additional chargeable work without discussing the situation with you first.

16. Customer Preparation

Depending on the service, customers may be asked to prepare the property before we arrive. This can include:

  • removing excessive clutter;

  • removing rubbish;

  • putting away valuable items;

  • clearing surfaces;

  • emptying cupboards where internal cleaning is required;

  • emptying refrigerators;

  • defrosting freezers where required;

  • removing personal belongings from an End of Tenancy property; and

  • ensuring areas are reasonably accessible.

If the property is not prepared as agreed, we may be unable to complete all tasks within the allocated time. Additional time or charges may apply where agreed.

17. Water and Electricity

The customer must ensure that the property has reasonable access to:

  • running water;

  • electricity;

  • hot water where needed; and

  • adequate lighting

unless another arrangement has been specifically agreed. If essential utilities are unavailable, we may be unable to provide the service safely or effectively. Our Cancellation Policy may apply where the appointment cannot proceed because the required utilities were not available and this was not disclosed beforehand.

18. Access to the Property

You are responsible for ensuring that we can access the property at the agreed time.

Access may be provided by:

  • the customer;

  • another authorised person;

  • a key;

  • a key safe;

  • concierge/reception; or

  • another agreed method.

Please provide accurate instructions before the appointment. We recommend that sensitive alarm or access codes are not submitted through general website forms.

19. Keys

Where Nest & Gleam agrees to hold a customer's key, it will be handled with reasonable care. Where practical:

  • keys will not be labelled with the full property address;

  • identifying information will be minimised;

  • keys will be stored securely when not in use.

Customers should notify us immediately where access arrangements change. If a key is lost or damaged due to our failure to exercise reasonable care, we will deal with the matter reasonably and, where appropriate, through our insurer. Customers should not attach unnecessary personal information to keys supplied to Nest & Gleam.

20. Alarm Systems

Customers are responsible for providing accurate alarm instructions where required. Nest & Gleam is not responsible for consequences resulting solely from:

  • incorrect alarm codes;

  • inaccurate instructions;

  • systems that malfunction; or

  • undisclosed alarm requirements,

except where loss results from our own failure to exercise reasonable care. If an alarm is accidentally triggered, we will take reasonable steps to contact you promptly.

21. Parking

Customers should disclose relevant parking arrangements before confirming the booking. This includes:

  • permit requirements;

  • paid parking;

  • restricted parking;

  • limited access; and

  • significant distance between parking and the property.

Reasonable parking costs incurred in providing your service may be added to your bill where this has been agreed or clearly communicated. Where a customer has access to a visitor permit, we may request use of it.

22. Pets

Pets are welcome, but customers should tell us in advance if animals will be present. Animals should be safely secured where necessary.

This is particularly important where:

  • doors will be opened;

  • an animal may escape;

  • the animal is nervous around strangers;

  • the animal interferes with cleaning; or

  • there is any risk of aggressive behaviour.

Nest & Gleam may stop work if an animal creates an unreasonable safety risk.

23. Children and Other Occupants

Children and other occupants may remain in the property during a clean. However, the customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • children are appropriately supervised;

  • occupants do not create unsafe working conditions;

  • access to required areas is available; and

  • cleaning equipment and chemicals are not interfered with.

We may temporarily restrict access to an area while floors are wet or chemicals are being used.

24. Health & Safety

Nest & Gleam takes reasonable steps to provide services safely. We may use:

  • cleaning chemicals;

  • electrical equipment;

  • wet-floor signs;

  • PPE;

  • colour-coded materials;

  • risk assessments; and

  • other safety controls

where appropriate. Customers should disclose known hazards before our arrival.

25. Unsafe Working Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse, pause or stop work where conditions present an unacceptable risk. This may include:

  • exposed needles or sharps;

  • bodily fluids requiring specialist treatment;

  • sewage;

  • uncontrolled animal waste;

  • dangerous electrical faults;

  • unstable structures;

  • hazardous chemicals;

  • serious pest infestations;

  • aggressive animals;

  • dangerous mould;

  • unsafe access;

  • violence, abuse or threatening behaviour.
    Where a risk was known to the customer but not disclosed, a reasonable call-out or cancellation charge may apply where legally permitted and where we have suffered loss.

26. Cleaning Products and Equipment

Nest & Gleam will normally provide the products and equipment reasonably required for the agreed service. If a customer asks us to use a product or item supplied by them, they should:

  • ensure it is suitable for the intended surface;

  • provide any relevant instructions;

  • ensure equipment is safe and in working order.

We may refuse to use a customer-supplied product or equipment if we reasonably believe it may be:

  • unsafe;

  • unsuitable;

  • damaged;

  • incorrectly labelled; or

  • likely to cause damage.

27. Delicate and Specialist Surfaces

Customers should inform us before cleaning begins about any surfaces requiring specialist treatment. Examples may include:

  • natural stone;

  • marble;

  • granite;

  • specialist wood;

  • unsealed flooring;

  • antique furniture;

  • delicate metals;

  • specialist coatings;

  • hand-painted surfaces;

  • valuable ornaments.

We will use reasonable care, but we cannot be expected to identify every unusual material without information from the customer. Where we are unsure about a surface, we may:

  • conduct a small test where appropriate;

  • use a conservative cleaning method; or

  • decline to clean the item.

28. Pre-Existing Damage

Nest & Gleam is not responsible for damage that existed before our service began. Examples include:

  • cracked tiles;

  • loose fittings;

  • damaged seals;

  • peeling paint;

  • unstable fixtures;

  • scratched surfaces;

  • damaged furniture;

  • corrosion;

  • worn flooring.

Where practical, significant pre-existing damage may be:

  • photographed;

  • brought to your attention; or

  • recorded before cleaning begins.

Customers should tell us about known fragile or damaged items beforehand.

29. Valuable and Fragile Items

Customers should safely store valuable, sentimental or particularly fragile items before the appointment. This may include:

  • jewellery;

  • cash;

  • important documents;

  • collectibles;

  • fragile ornaments;

  • valuable artwork;

  • irreplaceable possessions.

Where an item requires specialist care, please notify us. We may decline to handle particularly valuable or fragile items where appropriate.

30. Moving Furniture and Appliances

Our standard service does not normally include moving very heavy furniture or major appliances. We may move lightweight items where safe and reasonable. We will not require cleaners to move an item where doing so could reasonably:

  • cause injury;

  • damage flooring;

  • damage the item;

  • damage the property; or

  • require specialist handling.

If cleaning behind large furniture or appliances is essential, please discuss this before booking.

31. Breakages and Accidental Damage

We take care while working in customers' properties. If we cause or become aware of accidental damage, we will aim to:

  1. notify you as soon as reasonably possible;

  2. record what happened;

  3. investigate the circumstances; and

  4. where appropriate, resolve the matter directly or through our insurer.

Customers should also notify us promptly if they discover damage they reasonably believe resulted from the cleaning service. Prompt notification gives us the best opportunity to investigate. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights or our liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.

32. Reasonable Care and Skill

Nest & Gleam will provide consumer cleaning services with reasonable care and skill. We will aim to perform the tasks agreed in your service description or quotation to an appropriate professional standard. Cleaning results can nevertheless depend on factors outside our control, including:

  • age of surfaces;

  • permanent staining;

  • previous damage;

  • wear and tear;

  • corrosion;

  • discolouration;

  • ingrained dirt;

  • damaged grout;

  • old limescale;

  • damaged seals;

  • material sensitivity.

Cleaning cannot always restore an item or surface to an “as new” condition.

33. Stains and Permanent Marks

We cannot guarantee removal of every:

  • stain;

  • burn;

  • scratch;

  • discolouration;

  • mould mark;

  • limescale deposit;

  • adhesive residue;

  • permanent mark.

Where reasonable methods have been used but the mark remains, this does not automatically mean the service has been performed incorrectly. We will never intentionally damage a surface simply to attempt complete stain removal.

34. End of Tenancy Cleaning

End of Tenancy Cleaning is intended to provide a thorough property clean based on the agreed scope. However, Nest & Gleam does not guarantee the return of a tenancy deposit, because deposit deductions may depend on issues outside our control, including:

  • damage;

  • wear and tear;

  • missing items;

  • decoration;

  • gardening;

  • rubbish;

  • landlord requirements;

  • inventory discrepancies;

  • tenancy obligations unrelated to cleaning.

Our responsibility is to provide the agreed cleaning service with reasonable care and skill.

35. Inspection and Check-Out Timing

Where possible, customers should arrange cleaning before the final landlord or inventory inspection. If contractors, movers, decorators, tradespeople, tenants or other people enter the property after we finish, Nest & Gleam cannot be responsible for dirt or disruption created after completion.

36. Quality Concerns and Re-Cleans

We want customers to be satisfied with the service received. If you believe an agreed cleaning task has been missed or has not been completed to an appropriate standard, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible, ideally within 24–48 hours. Where appropriate, please provide photographs. We will consider the issue and may:

  • ask for further information;

  • inspect the area;

  • return to repeat the relevant cleaning;

  • agree another reasonable remedy.

Where the service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill, your statutory rights remain unaffected. Reporting concerns quickly helps us determine the condition of the area before it is subsequently used or altered. Failure to report within 24–48 hours does not remove any statutory rights you may otherwise have.

37. Reviews and Feedback

We may invite customers to provide feedback following a service. Reviews must reflect the customer's genuine experience. We will not require customers to leave a positive review in exchange for providing a service or resolving a complaint. Where you provide a testimonial directly to us, we will obtain appropriate permission before using identifiable information for marketing where required.

38. Photographs Before and After Cleaning

We may take photographs where reasonably necessary for:

  • recording property condition;

  • documenting pre-existing damage;

  • quality control;

  • proving completion;

  • resolving complaints;

  • insurance purposes.

Photographs taken for operational purposes will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We will not automatically use photographs of your home for social media or advertising simply because they were taken during a clean. Marketing use will be handled separately and permission obtained where appropriate.

39. Appointment Times

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive at the agreed time. Where appropriate, an appointment time may represent an estimated arrival window rather than an exact minute. Unexpected circumstances can occasionally cause delays. If we expect to be materially late, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

40. Duration of Cleaning

Any estimated cleaning duration is provided in good faith. Actual cleaning time can vary depending on:

  • property condition;

  • size;

  • access;

  • clutter;

  • customer requests;

  • number of cleaners;

  • unexpected cleaning requirements.

Fixed-price services are charged according to the agreed quotation rather than necessarily by the number of hours taken.

41. Customer Delays

Where the customer causes a delayed start, we may have to finish at the originally scheduled end time if another booking follows. The agreed booking charge may still apply. Where possible, we may offer additional time subject to availability and an agreed charge.

42. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required:

Regular Cleaning

At the time or within the timeframe stated on your invoice or booking arrangement.

One-Off Services

Any required deposit is payable before the appointment is secured. The remaining balance will normally become due upon completion of the service unless otherwise stated. Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you. Our preferred method may include bank transfer or another approved electronic payment method.

43. Invoices

Customers may receive an electronic invoice or receipt. Invoices may include:

  • customer name;

  • invoice number;

  • service;

  • date;

  • amount;

  • payments received;

  • balance due;

  • payment instructions.

Please contact us promptly if you believe an invoice contains an error.

44. Overdue Payments

If payment is not received when due, we may:

  • contact you regarding the outstanding balance;

  • suspend future appointments;

  • require advance payment for future work;

  • end a recurring service arrangement; and

  • take reasonable steps to recover sums lawfully due.

We will not impose unfair or disproportionate penalties. Separate legal provisions may apply to overdue payments owed by business customers.

45. Tips and Gratuities

Tips are never required. Where a customer chooses to give a voluntary tip, this is entirely at their discretion.

46. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our separate Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

In summary, our standard policy asks for:

  • at least 48 hours' notice for ordinary appointments; and

  • preferably at least 72 hours for substantial one-off bookings.

Cancellation charges, where applicable, will be fair and proportionate and will take account of the loss actually suffered. Please read the full Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy before confirming your booking.

47. Statutory Cancellation Rights for Distance Bookings

Where you are a consumer and enter into an eligible service contract:

  • online;

  • by telephone;

  • through WhatsApp;

  • through email; or

  • otherwise at a distance,

you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract. This right is separate from our ordinary appointment cancellation policy. We will provide required cancellation information where these rules apply.

48. Services Requested During the 14-Day Period

If you ask Nest & Gleam to begin providing services before the statutory cancellation period expires, we may ask you to expressly confirm that request. If you subsequently exercise an applicable cancellation right after work has begun, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied. Where the service has been fully performed following the required express request and acknowledgement, statutory cancellation rights may end as permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms reduces statutory rights available to consumers.

49. Cancellation by Nest & Gleam

We may occasionally need to cancel or rearrange an appointment because of circumstances such as:

  • illness;

  • emergencies;

  • vehicle problems;

  • unsafe conditions;

  • equipment failure;

  • severe weather;

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Where we cannot provide an agreed service and you do not accept an alternative date, relevant payments for the unprovided service will be refunded.

50. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Neither party will be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside their reasonable control. Examples may include:

  • severe weather;

  • flooding;

  • serious transport disruption;

  • widespread power failure;

  • emergency restrictions;

  • natural disasters;

  • major public emergencies.

Where this affects an appointment, we will communicate with you and aim to find a reasonable solution. This section does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

51. Liability

Nest & Gleam is responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that:

  • was not foreseeable;

  • results from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer;

  • results from pre-existing damage;

  • arises because the customer ignored reasonable instructions; or

  • arises from circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

Where you are a consumer, Nest & Gleam provides services for private or domestic use. We will not normally be responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer, such as loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, where those losses were not part of the purpose of the consumer contract.

52. Liability We Do Not Exclude

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and

  • any consumer rights or other liability which cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

53. Insurance

Nest & Gleam intends to maintain appropriate insurance relevant to the services being provided. The existence of insurance does not change either party's legal rights or obligations. Where a matter should properly be dealt with through insurance, we may provide relevant information to our insurer or claims handler in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

54. Customer Behaviour

Nest & Gleam has a zero-tolerance approach to:

  • violence;

  • threats;

  • intimidation;

  • harassment;

  • discriminatory abuse;

  • sexual harassment;

  • abusive behaviour towards cleaners.

We may immediately stop a service and leave the property where a cleaner's safety or dignity is threatened. Depending on the circumstances, we may also refuse future bookings.

55. Lone Working

Some appointments may be completed by a single cleaner. Nest & Gleam may operate reasonable lone-working procedures for safety.

Customers must not deliberately interfere with reasonable safety arrangements.

56. Employees and Contractors

As Nest & Gleam grows, services may be performed by:

  • the business owner;

  • employees; or

  • appropriately engaged contractors.

We remain responsible for ensuring that services supplied under our contract with consumer customers are provided in accordance with our legal obligations. Relevant property information may be shared with the person carrying out your clean where necessary, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

57. Direct Engagement of Staff

Where Nest & Gleam introduces an employee or contractor to a customer through our business, customers should not seek to bypass Nest & Gleam by privately arranging substantially the same ongoing cleaning work with that person while they are working with us. Any restrictions applied in a specific commercial arrangement will be reasonable, clearly disclosed and subject to applicable law.

58. Recurring Cleaning Arrangements

Weekly and fortnightly bookings may operate as ongoing arrangements rather than requiring a completely new contract for each visit. Either party may bring the recurring arrangement to an end by giving reasonable notice. Our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy continues to apply to individual appointments. We reserve the right to change a recurring appointment where necessary because of:

  • capacity;

  • staff availability;

  • travel requirements;

  • operational changes.

We will communicate significant changes in advance where reasonably practical.

59. Price Changes

We may change our prices from time to time to reflect factors such as:

  • operating costs;

  • wages;

  • products;

  • insurance;

  • travel;

  • service changes;

  • market conditions.

A price increase will not retrospectively affect a completed booking. Where prices for recurring services change, we will give reasonable notice before the new price applies. Customers may choose not to continue the recurring arrangement if they do not wish to accept the new price.

60. Promotional Offers and Discounts

Promotional offers may:

  • have an expiry date;

  • apply only to selected services;

  • apply only to new customers;

  • require a minimum booking;

  • be limited to one per household; or

  • have other clearly stated conditions.

Discounts cannot normally be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to withdraw a promotion before a booking is confirmed.

61. Gift Vouchers

If gift vouchers are introduced in future, separate terms regarding:

  • expiry;

  • redemption;

  • cancellations;

  • refunds

may apply and will be provided with the voucher.

62. Privacy and Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes information used for:

  • quotations;

  • bookings;

  • property access;

  • payments;

  • customer communication;

  • photographs;

  • complaints.

Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how personal information is used and protected.

63. Website Use

Information on our website is provided to help customers understand Nest & Gleam and its services. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current. However:

  • prices may change;

  • availability may change;

  • services may change;

  • website content may occasionally contain errors.

A website description does not override a specific written quotation or confirmed booking terms where those documents contain more specific agreed information.

64. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content created for the Nest & Gleam website and branding may be protected by intellectual-property rights.

This may include:

  • branding;

  • logos;

  • text;

  • photography;

  • graphics;

  • layouts;

  • service materials.

Customers may not reproduce our protected materials for commercial purposes without permission, except where the law permits.

65. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Nest & Gleam does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Customers should review the relevant third party's terms before using its services.

66. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Please provide:

  • your name;

  • booking date;

  • property postcode;

  • details of the concern;

  • photographs where relevant.

We will aim to:

  1. acknowledge the concern;

  2. investigate fairly;

  3. discuss an appropriate resolution.

Possible remedies may include:

  • clarification;

  • re-performance of relevant cleaning;

  • partial refund where appropriate;

  • another reasonable solution.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

67. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights provided to consumers by applicable law. Consumer services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. Where a service does not meet the legally required standard, consumers may have statutory remedies including the right, in appropriate circumstances, to:

  • repeat performance; or

  • a price reduction.

These Terms should not be interpreted as excluding such rights.

68. Commercial and Business Customers

Where a service is booked wholly or mainly for business purposes, separate commercial terms may apply. This is particularly relevant to:

  • offices;

  • landlords acting in the course of business;

  • letting agents;

  • property-management companies;

  • other commercial organisations.

Commercial contracts may contain separate provisions covering:

  • invoicing;

  • payment terms;

  • notice periods;

  • service schedules;

  • staff;

  • keys;

  • liability;

  • termination.

Where separate written commercial terms have been agreed, those terms will take priority to the extent of any inconsistency.

69. Changes to These Terms

Nest & Gleam may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will be published on our website. Changes will not normally be applied retrospectively to a completed service. Where a material change affects an ongoing recurring arrangement, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

70. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If a court or relevant authority finds that part of these Terms is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

71. No Waiver

If either party does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that the right has been permanently waived.

72. Entire Agreement

Your contract with Nest & Gleam may consist of:

  • these Terms & Conditions;

  • your quotation;

  • booking confirmation;

  • agreed service description;

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy; and

  • any additional written terms specifically agreed between us.

If a service-specific written term conflicts with a general provision in these Terms, the more specific agreed term will normally apply, subject always to applicable law.

73. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Where you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory legal rights relating to where you live.
